Summer Audition Clinic
for Teens, grades 8-12

This exciting clinic immerses the young actor in the professional acting industry. Five full days of audition/acting classes include cold reading, monologue, on camera and business skills. The week culminates in a showcase of monologues for some of Chicago's top agents, casting directors and theatre directors. Learn from luch time chats with industry professionals, have color headshots taken by Aaron Gang and study with some of Chicago's busiest working actors/directors; Kurt Naebig, Kimberly Senior, Jennie Moreau, Adrianne Cury, Doug McDade, Linda Gillum, Jack Bronis and Ross Frellick.

- Extension Week Conservatory!
Many of our Summer Clinic teens finish the week wishing that they could return for more training. For the first time we are offering an EXTENSION WEEK for those teens to have participated in the Summer Audition Clinic in 2009 or 2010. This week will provide a great opportunity for the young actor to deepen the audition skills acquired in the Clinic and to expand their exposure to other acting techniques and Chicago professionals in a conservatory setting.
Limited to 16 students.
- Advanced work on film/TV audition skills
- Mock commercial auditions with a casting director.
- Work on a monologue which contrasts a Showcase piece.
- Introduction to Shakespeare's language.
- Voice for the Actor
- Viewpoints with A Red Orchid ensemble member Dado.
