ACTING DECONSTRUCTED FOR TEENS WITH DAWN GRAY
Dawn Gray of Gray Talent has guided the careers of many successful actors to the "next level in their career," which includes work on Broadway, in Film, and on Television. After working with actors on thousands of auditions, she now shares her industry knowledge, and specific insights about the audition process and ways to improve one's approach, with our ASC teen actors.
This workshop is a 3 and ½ hour, two-part session.
Part One is a discussion about the business, how to evaluate success and what you need to thrive and craft a successful career.
Part Two focuses on the audition process including a quick on-camera coaching. Participants will perform a mock audition of a short scene, with a reader. Dawn will provide feedback and one specific note to work on after the class ends. The goal is to elevate performance to the next level.
REQUIRED: On Camera Technique and/or Summer Audition Clinic at ASC, along with permission of Director of Youth Education or Studio Director.
AGE: 13+. Limited to 12 Students.
