Drop Policy for Adult Students

If you need to drop your class prior to the start of the term, you must give the office at least ONE WEEK’S NOTICE prior to the start of your class.

If you do so:

Any tuition paid toward the class and the non-refundable $150 deposit will be kept on credit at the studio for up to one year, to be applied to a future class.

Or

The non-refundable deposit will be held on credit at the studio for up to one year, to be applied to a future class.  Any other tuition paid will be refunded to you (minus a $20 credit card processing fee).

If you fail to notify the office ONE WEEK prior to the start of the first class, you will lose your deposit.  Any tuition paid beyond the $150 deposit will be refunded to you (minus a $20 processing fee).

If you drop the class ON THE DAY BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS OR AFTER, the full tuition is non-refundable, non-transferable, and may not be kept on file for a future class. If you have an outstanding balance, you are responsible. We hold your spot when you register for a class and do not permit anyone else to take your seat. Classes often have waitlists. When you drop at the last minute, we do not have the ability to fill your spot. You are responsible for the full tuition if you are unable to give us the required notice.  (If your class begins at 6pm on a Tuesday, you MUST notify us via email no later than 5pm on Monday, or you are responsible for the entire tuition.)

Thank you for understanding our policies, which are essential to keeping class sized small.

Look Who's Working!

My first Actor's training I ever took was Intro to Shurtleff with Joshua, and On Camera Intro with Sarah Charipar. Both classes- because of the instructors- unlocked my brain into the world of immersing myself into imagination and critique of self. Because of ASC, I have been able to dive deep into an evolution of my auditions. Last year, I worked on a short film that was nominated for multiple film festival selections. I recently booked another short film, which begins filming next week. The current training with Christina [Gorman] allowed myself to be warmed-up and prepared for my booking. I'm extremely grounded in the fact that out of all training types I have received so far, ASC is a hidden gem of Chicago and possibly the U.S. Thank you ASC--I'm so happy to have learned everything I have so far from you. Best, John Stripe Tiggemann
