INTIMACY TOOLS FOR ACTORS: ADVANCED PRACTICE & COLLABORATION

This one-day advanced workshop is designed for working actors with professional rehearsal and on-set experience who want to go deeper.

Our time together will focus on how these tools show up in real working conditions. We will look at fast-moving processes, emotionally demanding material, and the reality of collaborating with directors, scene partners, and Intimacy Coordinators.

The class includes advanced body-based work, scenario exploration, and partnered exercises. You will practice communicating consent under time pressure, renegotiating boundaries as a process evolves, and staying emotionally available over long runs or multiple takes. We will also look at how to work within intimacy choreography while staying responsive and truthful in performance.

This workshop addresses common professional challenges, such as power dynamics and shared responsibility in the room. You'll leave with a clearer understanding of your agency in this work and tools that support longevity, clarity, and care in demanding productions.
