Samuel Roukin

Samuel Roukin is an actor, writer, and director. He is best known for his role as the villainous John Graves Simcoe on AMC’s TURN: Washington’s Spies, and the iconic character of Simon “Ghost” Riley in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare franchise. On TV he can most recently be seen as Fitz in Crossfire for Amazon’s Secret Level. Other TV includes: Counterpart; Marvel's Agents of Shield; The Librarians; The Magicians; Salem; Housewife 49; Appropriate Adult (BAFTA for Best Drama); and Richard II produced by Sam Mendes. Roukin’s feature film debut was in the Oscar®-nominated Happy-Go-Lucky, directed by Mike Leigh. Other films include: Jane Campion’s Bright Star; David Yates’ Harry Potter and the Deathly HallowsEquity; A Call to Spy; All Souls (opposite Mikey Madison); Canvas; The Bell Brook Murders; Malus; Chicago Don't Die; and most recently Gettysburg 1863. A classically trained actor, Roukin began his career in the top flight of British theatre including Trevor Nunn’s Hamlet at The Old Vic. For the National Theatre: The Kitchen; His Dark Materials; Henry IV Parts 1 & 2. For The Royal Shakespeare Company: The lead role of Pip in Great Expectations. On Broadway, Roukin played Valvert in The Roundabout’s production of Cyrano de Bergerac. For Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Les Waters’ production of Harold Pinter’s No Man’s Land.

Roukin is an award-winning audiobook narrator and voice-over artist with scores of titles recorded, and multiple book series for authors including Danielle Steel, Anne Perry, and Martin Dugard. Roukin has an extensive list of writing and directing credits across Film, TV, and Theatre.

From private professional clients to Masters Level College students, throughout his career, Roukin has been teaching and coaching in both the UK and the US.
