Zeljko Djukic

Zeljko Djukic is the founder and former artistic director of TUTA Theatre Chicago and a recipient of the Fulbright Scholar Award for 2013. His recent production of Gentle received two Joseph Jefferson nominations (New Play, Scenic Design) and one award for Best Music. Djukic's staging of Uncle Vanya was pronounced the best production in Chicago in 2008 (Chicago Reader), he received an Orgie Award for artistic vision in 2007, a Joseph Jefferson nomination for Best Directing (Baal), and a Helen Hayes nomination for Best Directing (Quartet). Zeljko recently directed Facility Theatre's premiere production, A Fool For Love, as well as Facility Theatre's upcoming Nina:  or About the Fragility of Stuffed Seagulls by Matei Visniec.
