YOUTH (Ages 9-12): THE SELF-TAPE SUCCESS WORKSHOP

Great auditions happen long before the camera turns on.  In this hands-on workshop, young actors will learn both the craft of on-camera auditioning and how to create strong, professional self-tapes. 

The workshop has two parts.

First, an on-camera component, where Siobhan Reddy-Best (Agent ~ Stewart Talent) and Jenn Noyes (Casting Director ~ Karge Casting) will coach young actors through age-appropriate sides, focusing on truthful performances, taking direction, making adjustments, and understanding what casting professionals look for in a successful audition. 

In the second half, students will learn the self-tape process.  They'll review self-tape slates completed ahead of time at home (instructions sent after registration) and get feedback on creating an effective self-tape setup, including framing, lighting, and sound, while practicing polished, casting-ready auditions on camera.

The workshop wraps with an industry Q&A.

Whether you're new to self-taping or looking to refine your process, this workshop offers practical tools, insider industry insight, and a shared experience to help young actors feel more confident the next time an audition lands in their inbox. 

Prerequisite: A desire to audition for commercials and/or TV/film. Having taken at least one acting class is ideal but not required.
