TV/FILM MASTER CLASS WITH A.J. LINKS, C.S.A.
In this 6 Week Master Class, Emmy Nominated and two-time Artios Award Winning Casting Director A.J. Links (she/her) will focus on how to prep and audition for television and film roles.
The need to commit to and quickly embrace a new role/new material when auditioning for TV/Film (either live or virtually) is challenging. How do you embrace yourself within the scenario and come up with unique "choices"? What tools and tricks can you use to show how professional and prepared you are? Actors will receive scenes from comedic and dramatic film/television properties previously filmed in Chicago. The class will incorporate at least 1 self-tape, 1 Zoom session, and live audition scenarios. Actors will review playback of their work and receive feedback. Over the course of the six weeks, we'll focus on turning around copy quickly, creatively, and confidently!
REQUIRED: This class is designed specifically for professional actors with agent representation, prior advanced on-camera training, and on-camera experience.
Admission determined by H/R. Self-tape may be requested.
