AUDITION TO WRAP WITH SAMUEL ROUKIN
A comprehensive toolbox for the working TV and Film Actor.
In this dynamic six-week on-camera intensive with actor Samuel Roukin, actors will build a practical toolbox for every stage of the TV and film process — from audition to wrap. Through scene study, self-tape work, technical on-set training, improvisation, and filmed exercises, students will build confidence, deepen their on-camera presence, and sharpen the skills needed to work on set.
Actors will explore everything from active listening and camera awareness to hitting marks, adjusting performance for different shot sizes, and staying flexible under direction. Each week, students will apply their work directly on camera in a collaborative environment, culminating in the final two weeks with a (self-written) filmed monologue shoot and a simulated live “screen test”. Designed for actors ready to elevate their screen-acting craft, this class blends artistic growth with real-world industry technique.
PRE REQUISITE: Camera 2 or Advanced On Camera or Equivalent Training as determined by H/R.
